Howard Community Collegee basketball coach Wheeler Brown was recently names Maryland Coach of the Year by the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association.
This season, Brown, in his third year at HCC, finished with a record of 28 wins and five losses. His team won the Division II NTC championship of the Maryland Junior College Athletic Association, was runner-up in the Region XX Basketballl Tournament and ended the season ranked third in the country in the final NJCAA Division II mens basketball poll.
