Harriet Pine Dukehart, who grew up in Baltimore, died Thursday at her home in New Rochelle, N.Y., after a stroke. She was 83.
Services for Mrs. Dukehart were being held today at Trinity Episcopal Church in New Rochelle, N.Y.
The former Harriet Pine was born in Pottstown, Pa., and moved to Baltimore as a child when her father, Frank W. Pine, became headmaster of the Gilman School. She moved to New Rochelle in 1941.
She was a graduate of the Roland Park Country School and, in 1931, of Smith College.
Mrs. Dukehart was a member of the Huguenot Society, the Society of Mayflower Descendants and the American McCall Mission, which supports children's day-care centers in France.
