Kevin P. Pallett

Kevin P. Pallett, director of music at Broadneck High School in Cape St. Claire, was killed Friday in a collision between his motorcycle and a car on Jumpers Hole Road in Severna Park. He was 34.

Services for Mr. Pallett were being held today at Severna Park United Methodist Church, 731 Benfield Road.

A music teacher in Anne Arundel County schools and a resident of Cape St. Claire for about 11 years, he was a member of the Percussion Arts Society and a drummer who played with bands in the area. He also was a member of education organizations.

Born in Schenectady, N.Y., he was reared in Rochester, N.Y., before the family moved to Severna Park in 1967.

Mr. Pallett was a graduate of Severna Park High School and, in 1979, of Towson State University.

He is survived by his wife, the former Lora Jensen; a son, Nicholas Pallett of Cape St. Claire; his mother and stepfather, Carolyn and Murray Cox, both of Cape St. Claire; and two brothers, Bryan Pallett of Pasadena and Stephen Pallett of Severna Park.
