Bernard Philip Fabro Retired garage supervisor

A Mass of Christian burial for Bernard Philip Fabro, a former supervisor of the Washington Metropolitan Police garage, will be offered at 10 a.m. today at St. Andrews By The Bay Church in Cape St. Claire.

Mr. Fabro died Thursday at the Chesapeake Manor Extended Care Centre in Arnold. He was 80.

He had lived in Cape St. Claire since 1954.

A Missouri native, he was born in Galloway and raised in Springfield.

He retired from his supervisor's job in 1976.

Mr. Fabro was a longtime usher at St. Andrews By The Bay and enjoyed gardening.

He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Florence R. Fabro; a son, Philip Fabro Jr. of Stratford, Conn.; a daughter, Carol Fabro O'Brien of Annapolis; and one grandson.

The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the St. Andrews By The Bay building fund.

Arrangements were made by Barranco and Sons Severna Park Funeral Home.
