FINKSBURG — Lestie I. Bupp, 72, died Tuesday at Carroll County General Hospital. She was the wife of the late Walter M. Bupp. Retired from Westminster Shoe Factory, she was a member of the Super 60s of Carroll County and the Friedensaals Lutheran Church in Seven Valleys, Pa. Survivors include her children, Mary Jane Brothers and Walter W. Bupp, both of Westminster; brothers, Raymond and Stuart Smith, both of Pennsylvania; sisters, Arlene Davis and Betty Beck, both of Seven Valleys; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Gladys E. Calhoun, 45, died Wednesday at her home. She was the daughter of Javier and Ada Perez Santiago of San Juan, Puerto Rico. She was the wife of John Carroll Calhoun. A computer systems analyst, she worked for the Department of Defense. In addition to her husband and parents, survivors include a daughter, Laura Calhoun, and son, Kevin Calhoun, both of here; brothers, Ruben Santiago of San Juan and Javier Santiago of Anne Arundel County.
Leonard B. Hively, 88, died May 4 at Crandall Medical Center in Sebring, Ohio. He was predeceased by his first wife, Elizabeth Dively Hively. Survivors include his wife, Florence Hively; daughters, Phyllis Bassler of New Windsor and Margaret L. Hively of Virginia; stepdaughter, Beverly B. Caulkins of California; brother, Fred Puttkamer of Milwaukee; five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
