PREHISTORIC FUN: Dinosaurs Alive, an exhibit of life-sized dinosaurs that move and make realistic sounds, is at the Salisbury Mall through Aug. 2. Hours are 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., Mondays through Saturdays, noon to 5 p.m., Sundays. The Friends of the Salisbury Zoo are sponsoring the exhibit. Admission is $3.50 for children 3 to 10 years old, $4 for adults. Proceeds will benefit zoo projects. Call (410) 742-5852.

HEART SMART: The Worcester County branch of the American Heart Association's annual Young at Heart Walk on the Boardwalk in Ocean City starts at 9 a.m. on May 26. Participants in the 4 kilometer walk will begin at the Inlet, walk on the Boardwalk to 13th Street and return to the Inlet. The entry fee is $5, and each walker will receive a T-shirt. Registration the day of the walk will be from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. Call (410) 524-3827 to register in advance.

HEAR THIS: Musician Leonard Purnell will perform at Furnace Town at 3 p.m. on May 24. The concert is part of Furnace Town's 1992 Mini-Concert Series, which continues through October. The cost for the concert and admission to Furnace Town is $2 for adults, $1 for children and high school students, and includes regular features and demonstrations such as old-time broom-making and blacksmithing. IN CONCERT: Three summer concerts have been scheduled at the Convention Center, 40th Street and Coastal Highway. Country singer Lyle Lovett and His Large Band will perform at 8 p.m. June 2. Folk singers Peter, Paul and Mary will take the stage at 8 p.m. Aug. 5. The Temptations with the Four Tops will perform at 8 p.m. Aug. 12. Tickets for Peter, Paul and Mary are $21.50. Tickets for the others are $19.50 each. Call (410) 289-8314.
