Anna A. Sherwood

Baltimore native

Services for Anna A. Sherwood, a native of Baltimore, will be held at 10 a.m. today at the Parsell, Atkins and Lodge Funeral Home in Midway, Del.

Mrs. Sherwood, who was 68 and lived in Rehoboth Beach, Del., for the past decade, died Wednesday of heart failure at a hospital in Cape May Courthouse, N.J.

The former Anna A. Wrobleski was reared in Baltimore and also lived in Colorado, Florida and Glen Burnie. For 10 years before moving to Delaware, she lived in Annapolis.

She is survived by her husband, Donald H. Sherwood; a daughter, Patricia Campbell of Sarasota, Fla.; two sisters, Helen Nieberding and Pauline Shaney, both of Glen Burnie; and three grandchildren.

The family suggested memorial donations to the American Heart Association.

Edna L. H. Oliphant

Services for Edna Louise Hackett Oliphant, who did secretarial work for a tobacco distributor for many years, will be held at 2 p.m. today at the Towson Presbyterian Church, Chesapeake and Highland avenues.

Mrs. Oliphant, who was 84, died Wednesday of cancer at the Presbyterian Home in Towson.

She retired 36 years ago after working 28 years for F. A. Davis & Sons Inc.

A member of the Woman's Club of Glenhill, the Kent County Chapter of the Eastern Shore Society and the Daughters of the American Revolution, she lived in the Waverly area for many years and was a pianist and youth group leader at the Waverly United Methodist Church.

She belonged to the Towson Presbyterian Church for the past 17 years.

The former Edna Louise Hackett was a native of Still Pond and a graduate of the Chestertown High School and the Eaton-Burnett Business College in Baltimore.

Her husband, Herman Oliphant, died in 1975.

She is survived by a daughter, Edna Jean McCaslin of Loch Hill; and a granddaughter.
