Churchville Road area robbed, vandalized

Five businesses along Churchville Road outside Bel Air were burglarized or vandalized the night of April 22, the county Sheriff's Office said.

Investigators have not determined if the incidents are related.

An undisclosed amount of cash was stolen from the Fortunato Brothers restaurant in the 1300 block after a glass door at the business was broken, police said. The loss totaled $700.

A door and alarm were damaged at the Churchville Veterinary Clinic in the 2300 block, police said. Damage totaled $700, but nothing was reported stolen.

At the Campus Hills Shopping Center in the 2400 block, a glass door, window and carpeting were damaged at Holiday Hair Fashions Inc. and Postal Plus, with a total loss of $500, police said.

Aberdeen

500 block of S. Philadelphia Blvd.: A $2,900 pickup truck was stolen from Cook Used Cars April 20.

L Unit block of Liberty St.: A $3,000 car was stolen April 24.

1500 block of S. Philadelphia Blvd.: A Husky puppy worth $400 was stolen April 21.

600 block of Aldino Stepney Road: Stereo equipment, compact discs and a radar detector were stolen from a car April 23. A window of the car was broken. Damage totaled $685.

Bel Air

200 block of South Bond Street: $1,700 was stolen from a cash register at Hing Wah Restaurant April 23.

Unit block of Idlewild St.: Stereo equipment worth $600 was stolen from a vehicle April 20.

600 block of N. Fountain Green Road: A computer printer worth $2,160 was stolen from the Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. office April 20, the Sheriff's Office said.

2000 block of Kalmia Road: Two Siberian huskies worth $550 were stolen April 21.

1200 block of Fergus Court: Baseball cards and video-game cartridges were stolen from a house April 23. A vehicle and a game unit were damaged. Loss totaled $940.

500 block of Priestford Road: Coins, jewelry and a porcelain pitcher, worth $1,085, were stolen April 21.

Edgewood

1800 block of Grempler Way: Jewelry worth $6,610 was stolen from a house April 19, state police at Benson said.

Joppa

1400 block of Old Joppa Road: Stereo equipment worth $1,485 was stolen from a car parked in a garage on April 20, the Sheriff's Office said.
