Diane Adams, activity director at Almost Family Adult Day Care, has been approved and certified by the National Certification Council forActivity Professionals (NCCAP) as an activity director.

Certification by NCCAP indicates that the activity director has met or exceeded standards of experience and education as set by the NCCAP. Activityprofessionals develop and lead activity programming in nursing homes, senior centers, retirement housing and adult day care.


Gilbert A. Crandall, owner of Gil Crandall & Associates in Annapolis, has been selected to appear in the sixth edition of "Who's Who in Public Relations," a publication of PR Publishing Co. Inc. in Exeter, N.H.

Selection for "Who's Who" is based on several factors, including a senior position and significant experience within the field,active involvement beyond their employment and status as a role model to the public and other practitioners.

Crandall was selected by the editorial board on the basis of outstanding contributions in the field of public relations.


Gray & Associates, an Annapolis-based association management and legislative consulting firm, has appointed account executive Marie Anderson as executivedirector of the Chesapeake Chapter-National Spa & Pool Institute, a professional association representing the swimming pool/spa industries.


Sharon Grosfeld, an attorney with the law firm of Hyatt & Peters of Annapolis, will participate in a televisionpanel discussion on "Hope for the Battered Woman," sponsored by The League of Women Voters of Montgomery County.

The half-hour programwill broadcast on Channel 49 on Montgomery Community Television at 10:30 a.m. May 6 and 9 p.m. May 7. The show is one of a series of six league-sponsored programs titled "Perspectives," on important community issues.

Grosfeld concentrates her practice on domestic law, particularly divorce and child custody.


Four sales associates at the Annapolis office of Shannon & Luchs Realtors wererecognized for outstanding achievements for the first quarter of 1992.

Recognized were:

Tom Rose for top total first-quarter sales;Pam Goldberg for top listings sold; Judy Leichtman for top total transactions and top dollar volume; and Jon Phillips for top first-year licensee for the quarter.
