For the healthy conscious, take care of yourself and help prevent birth defects by participating in the March of Dimes Walk America 1992, coming to Carroll County for the first time.
Sign-in time is 8-10 a.m. Sunday at South Carroll High School, 1300 Old W. Liberty Road, Winfield. The 10-mile circular walk will bemarked with 40 milestones noting medical breakthroughs in the fight against birth defects.
After walking, ride to Carroll Community College for the Arts Festival, including demonstrations, videos, art exhibit, food, face painting, clown and campus tours noon to 4 p.m. Sunday at 1601 Washington Road, Westminster.
Don't leave the college without hearing the Honors MusicRecital, featuring CCC voice, piano and guitar students at 3 p.m. All activities are free.
If you're still tapping your feet from Saturday night, keep moving at the CarrollPromenaders' modern western square dance, featuring Steve Jacques' calls at 6 p.m. Sunday at North Carroll High School, 3801 Hampstead-Mexico Road, Hampstead.
