Recession in Japan has been getting a lot of media attention lately. Japanese businesses are selling extensive real estate holdings in other countries, including the U.S. The Japanese stock market is definitely one for the bears these days. Japan is under pressure from other nations to control its exports. Clearly, the economic downturn there has ramifications for the United States. But exactly what those ramifications are -- with many considering the world to be one global economy now -- is open to much debate.
