Baltimore Freeport Centre, a Baltimore-based company that stores goods and merchandise for international and domestic companies and operates a trucking company, named Joseph P. Walsh vice president of marketing and sales.

Greenhorne & O'Mara Inc., a Greenbelt-based consulting design firm, named L. Spencer Bowling Jr. vice president of the architecture division.

McCormick & Co. Inc., a Sparks-based producer of seasonings, flavorings and specialty foods, promoted Lauretta A. Adams to management science and statistical analyst for corporate management information systems and named Basil M. "Bill" Pappas director of copack operations for the McCormick Flavor Division.

Cowan Transportation Companies, a Baltimore-based van, trucking and intermodal transportation company, named Ty Pruitt chief operating officer.

Willey Creek Co. Inc., an Exeter, New Hampshire-based operator of factory outlet centers, named Stacy Wyman general manager and marketing director of the Kent Narrows Factory Stores on Kent Island in Chester.

Baltimore Gas and Electric Co. named Gregory C. Martin manager of customer accounts, Diane L. Featherstone manager of staff services, and Linda D. Miller manager of employee services.

Chaselle Inc., a Columbia-based distributor of teaching and school supplies, appointed Harold J. Stengl Jr. distribution manager of the Columbia warehouse.

PHH FleetAmerica, a Hunt Valley-based manager of vehicle fleets, appointed Kathleen F. Wycoff senior vice president, finance.

Health care:

University of Maryland Medical System in Baltimore named Dr. James P.G. Flynn director of corporate rehabilitation services.

The Johns Hopkins Medical Institutions in Baltimore appointed Michele Fizzano senior media relations representative for the Office of Public Affairs.

Agency of Health Care Policy and Research in Rockville, a division of the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, named Peter Garrett senior public affairs specialist.

St. Agnes Hospital in Baltimore appointed Robert W. Adams executive vice president and chief operating officer.
