Carl O. Gardner

Carl O. Gardner, a partner in a business that furnishes nameplates and dials for electrical equipment, died Sunday after an apparent heart attack at his home in Cape St. Claire. He was 54.

Services for Mr. Gardner will be held at 10 a.m. tomorrow at the Barranco and Sons Funeral Home, Ritchie Highway and Robinson Road in Severna Park.

His company was the American Plate and Dial Co. He was associated with it for more than 30 years.

The Baltimore native was a graduate of Mergenthaler Vocational Technical High School.

He had served in the Air National Guard.

He is survived by his wife, the former Josephine Saia; three sons, Anthony Gardner of Denton, and Thomas and John Gardner, both of Cape St. Claire; one daughter, Carol White of Annapolis; and one granddaughter.
