National defense contracts

Westinghouse Electric Corp. in Hunt Valley won a $5,121,937 contract from the Air Force to provide maintenance and engineering support services for the Royal Saudi Air Force.

Woodward-Clyde Federal Services in Rockville won a $5 million contract from the Army to investigate and remediate the Defense Environment Restoration Program Military and Superfund Program.

Defense research contracts

AAI Manufacturing Assembly Inc. in Hunt Valley won a $2,295,985 contract from the Air Force for testing.

Vector Research Co. in Rockville won a $592,462 contract from the Navy to provide environmental acoustic studies.

Non-defense contracts

The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory in Laurel won a $39,789,765 contract from the Space and Naval Warfare Systems Command to provide for research, development, engineering and technical services in support of tactical/strategic systems, space science, geophysics, biophysics and micro-electronics.
