By popular demand, Opening Day programs are back.
In a move sure to please some souvenir hunters, the Orioles said yesterday that they are reprinting the first-game book that fans bought by the bundle on Opening Day at the new Oriole Park at Camden Yards.
All 50,000 books were gone roughly two hours after the gates opened, leaving thousands of fans rankled.
About 10,000 inaugural game programs will be on sale tonight at the ballpark, when the Orioles play the Cleveland Indians. Another 10,000 are expected to be available tomorrow night, also against the Indians. Programs are $3 and will be sold at gates 12 and 79, the club said.
