UNIVERSITY PARK -- Mike Busza scored three goals -- including the game-winner 32 seconds into overtime -- to lead Penn State (6-0) over UMBC (8-2), 12-11, yesterday.
The Retrievers trailed through most of the first three quarters, but tied the game on a goal by Jason Smith with seven seconds left in the third period.
UMBC took its first lead with 3:39 left in the game on a score by Tim Stecher, but Penn State tied the game on an unassisted goal by Chris Lehman with 44 seconds remaining.
