Here's what to look for if you are traveling in the Baltimore metropolitan area this week.

This list of highway projects includes only newly announced work, not continuing construction, which is extensive on several highways, including Interstate 95, U.S. 50/301 and the Baltimore-Washington Parkway.

New highway projects

Inner and outer loop I-695 from Reisterstown Road to Greenspring Avenue -- Through July 1, expect daily lane closings from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. for patching and paving.

U.S. 50 bridge over Sinepuxent Bay at Ocean City -- Through April 24, 9 p.m. to 6 a.m., Monday through Friday, one lane in each direction will be closed for mechanical repairs to the bridge. Temporary 10-minute roadway closures in both directions will be required occasionally. During the same period, the bridge will be closed to all marine traffic.

Bay Bridge -- Through April 15, one lane closed on westbound bridge. Two-way traffic on eastbound bridge as needed.

Bus route changes:

The MTA has scheduled the following bus route change for this week. For more information, call 539-5000; TTY for the hearing-impaired, 539-3497.

Orioles Parade

Nos. 3, 7, 10, 14, 17, 19, 27, 28 and 31 -- An Orioles parade today will reroute buses on these lines between 11:30 a.m. and 1 p.m.

No. 30

With each event at Oriole Park at Camden Yards, route will be changed because of the closure of the Hamburg Street bridge about an hour to 1 1/2 hours before and after each game. Southbound buses take regular route on Scott Street to Hamburg, south on Scott, south on Wicomico Street, east on Ostend Street, south on Warner Street, east on Stockholm Street, north on Sharp Street, south on Hanover Street, then via regular route. Northbound buses take regular route on Charles Street to Ostend, west on Ostend, south on Sharp, west on Stockholm, north on Warner, west on Ostend, north on Scott to Hamburg, then via regular route.

Continuing diversions

Nos. 2, 5, 8, 20, 26, 35, 36, 91, 140, 150 and 160 -- Until further notice, construction work at Baltimore and Gay streets detours buses daily between 7 p.m. and 4 a.m. Buses temporarily operate via regular route eastbound on Baltimore to Holiday Street, north on Holiday, east on Fayette Street to Gay, then via regular route.

Temporary diversion

No. 9 (Springlake service) -- Buses are temporarily rerouted because of a water main break in Hampton. Northbound buses travel regular route to St. Francis and Windy Gate roads, south on Windy Gate, west on Valley View Road, north on Limekiln Road, west on St. Francis, then via regular route. No change southbound.
