A 16-year-old Rosedale youth has been charged with first-degree murder in the fatal stabbing of an 18-year-old Highlandtown man during an argument in a house in Dundalk, Baltimore County police say.

Steven Constantine Andrews, whose home address was not available, was arrested about 4 p.m. yesterday on York Road near the Beltway, police said.

Police said the Andrews youth was charged with the first-degree murder of Jerry Goldberg, of the 3800 block of Hudson St., and was held overnight at the North Point District station without bail pending a bail review hearing today in Dundalk District Court.

The Andrews youth had been sought since the victim was fatally stabbed during an argument early Tuesday in a house in the 2700 block of Creston Road, police said.

Mr. Goldberg and his cousin were visiting a teen-age girl and two other females at the girl's house when the accused, the girl's ex-boyfriend, arrived with a friend, police said.

An argument broke out between the accused and Mr. Goldberg and the victim was stabbed in the neck, stomach and chest with a knife, police said.
