Pub Worker Victim Of Failed Robbery

An employee of J. K.'s Pub, in the 5400 block of Lynx Lane, reportedthat two men approached him from behind at 6 a.m Saturday as he was locking up.

The employee told police that the men grabbed him frombehind and threw something at his face. He then fell to the curb, and the attackers struck him several times. The attackers searched his pockets, but found no money, police said. They fled on foot in the direction of Twin Rivers Road.

5400 block of Lynx Lane: March 22, police responded to an alarm at a High's convenience store at about 2:30 a.m. and found the front door smashed with bricks. Cigarettes weretaken.

6800 block of Old Waterloo Road: Between 10:30 p.m. Wednesday and 9:30 a.m. Thursday, a 1990 black Chevrolet truck was stolen.

Item: 5600 block of Phelps Luck Drive: Between 10:15 p.m. March 23and 7:45 a.m. March 24, a 1990 black Honda Accord was stolen.

Item: 6000 block of Majors Lane: Between 8 p.m. March 23 and 7 a.m. March 24, a 1991 silver Honda Accord was stolen.

Item: 8900 block of Tamar Drive: Between 9 p.m. March 23 and 6:50 a.m. March 24, someone tried to steal a 1987 Honda Accord. The ignition had been popped and the engine was left running.

Item: 10900 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Between 1:30 p.m. and 4:15 p.m. Monday, a 1989 maroon Chevrolet Cavalier was stolen from the parking lot of Howard Community College.

Item: 10400 block of Little Patuxent Parkway: Between 8:30 a.m. and 5:15 p.m. Monday, a 1988 white Pontiac Fiero was stolen.

Item: Park And Ride at routes 216 and 29: Between 6:10 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Monday, a 1989 black Jeep Cherokee was stolen.

Item: 9300 block of Reader Lane: Between 4:50 p.m. and 9:35 p.m. Monday, a basement window was broken.

Item: 5200 block of Even Star Place: Between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday, a basement window was broken and jewelry and a jacket were taken.


5900 block of Rowanberry Drive: Between 3:30 p.m. Wednesday and 6:30 a.m. Thursday, someone tried to steal a 1987 Chevrolet Camaro. The vehicle's steering column had been smashed.

Item: 6400 block of Race Road: Between 5 p.m. Friday and 7 a.m. Monday, a padlock was broken on a trailer door at the Marmo Construction Co. A fax machine was taken.
