Francis G. Hurlock, a retired American Smelting and Refining Co. metallurgist, died Monday of cancer at the Greater Baltimore Medical Center. The Pinewood Avenue resident was 77.
Services for Mr. Hurlock will be held at 2 p.m. tomorrow at Bethesda United Methodist Church, 6300 Harford Road.
He retired 14 years ago. He had worked for the copper company for more than 40 years.
He is survived by his wife, the former Hilda Stone; a daughter, Dr. Donna Graves Hurlock Lamb of Alexandria, Va.; a son, Christian F. Hurlock of Baltimore; and a brother, the Rev. Charles J. Hurlock of Knoxville, Tenn.
