Judge George Sachse, who retired in 1974 after 12 years on the Circuit Court bench in Anne Arundel County, died Thursday of heart failure at his home in St. Margarets. He was 87.

A Mass of Christian burial for Judge Sachse was offered Monday at St. Mary's Roman Catholic Church in Annapolis.
