Unc Names Two New Vps

Annapolis-based aviation company UNC Inc. has named two new vice presidents to posts in the companies Airwork division in Millville, N.J.

Michael K. Moore will be the vice president of sales and marketing, and Dennis DiMarco will take on the responsibilities of vice president of marketing programs.

Before his appointment, Moore was a broker associate with Welsch Aviation, and was previously vice president of sales and marketing for Simuflite Training International, specialists in high technology and simulation-based training for professional pilots and technicians.

A captain in the Naval Reserve, Moore is a naval aviator and air transport pilot and flight instructor.

DiMarco has been with the company since 1986 in a variety of management positions. Most recently,he has served as vice president, domestic marketing and sales. Before that, he was director of sales, military program director and PT6 program director.

Before joining Airwork, DiMarco was with Wheaton Industries and Philadelphia Electric.


Maryland Hall for the Creative Arts Foundation has selected Annapolis attorney J. William Pitcher to its board of trustees.

Pitcher, who earned his law degree at the University of Baltimore, served in the Navy as a commander, and currently serves on the legislative committee of the Anne Arundel Trade Council.

A member of the board of directorsof scholarships for scholars and the Anne Arundel County Bar Association, Pitcher coaches baseball with the Peninsula Athletic League.

Pitcher lives in Annapolis with his wife and two children.


Liza Klimkov has been hired as art director of Le Club Cheveux, an Annapolis beauty salon located in the Annapolis Harbour Center.

Licensed in Virginia and Maryland as a cosmetologist, Klimkov has received advanced training at the California laboratoriesof Joico International.

In her new position, Klimkov will implement in-house training programs in advanced and new techniques in hair coloring, perming and styling.


Judy Leichtman and Pam Goldberg were recently recognized as the "Top Producers" for the Annapolis office of Shannon & Luchs Realtors for February.

Overall, the office showed a 44 percent increase in total sales and a 47 percent increase in total listings over February 1991.

The realty company also recently added Janet Hannsz to the Annapolis officeas a licensed sales associate.

A "Top Producing" agent in her former Shannon & Luchs office, Hannsz lives in the Epping Forest community of Annapolis.


Financial Plans & Strategies Inc. has recently hired Patricia M. Fisher as an agent serving Anne Arundel County.

Fisher, whose past experience includes managing a supplemental retirement plan for University of Maryland employees, will specialize in retirement planning for the company.


Christopher Noss, a certified personal fitness consultant for Annapolis' Quality Longevity Specialists, recently attended the 1992 IDEA Personal Training Conference in New York.

The conference featured workshops and seminars on the newest techniques in personal training, fitness research and innovations in exercise safety.

Noss holds certifications with several top institutions in the field.
