Opening week events

Here are some of the events leading up to Opening Day on April 6:

Thursday

11:30 a.m.-2 p.m. -- Nabisco Nilla Wafers Walk in the Park. Take a walk in the park and be among the first to see Oriole Park at Camden Yards (free).

7 p.m. -- Kellogg's Orioles Welcome Home Prep Rally outside the

new ballpark next to the warehouse.

Friday

3:05 p.m. -- Orioles vs. Mets exhibition at Oriole Park at Camden Yards (sold out).

Saturday

1:35 p.m. -- Orioles vs. Red Sox exhibition at RFK Stadium in Washington (tickets at Ticketmaster locations).

Sunday

8:30 a.m. -- Orioles Advocates 8K race from Memorial Stadium to Oriole Park, (sold out)

11:30 a.m. -- Hardee's/Roy Rogers Opening Week Orioles Parade (1 1/2 -mile parade along Pratt Street).

2 p.m. -- McDonald's Orioles Workout. Tickets: $3 ($1 goes to Orioles Children Charities). Tickets at Orioles ticket outlets. Also, Fans With Disabilities Day at the Workout: Jim Brady and a

group of fans with disabilities will experience the accessibility features available at the new ballpark. For information, call (410) 333-3098.

April 6

3:05 p.m. -- Opening Day! Orioles vs. Cleveland Indians at Oriole Park at Camden Yards (sold out). Gates open at noon.
