Exhibition tickets to go on sale today

Approximately 20,000 tickets to the April 3 exhibition game between the Orioles and the New York Mets at Oriole Park at Camden Yards will go on sale today at 9 a.m. at all regular Orioles ticket outlets.

Tickets for the 3:05 p.m. game can be purchased at all Ticketmaster outlets -- at more than 40 locations, including 23 Hecht Co. stores in the Baltimore-Washington area -- via PhoneCharge and at the new box office at Oriole Park at Camden Yards.

All Hecht's stores will open at 9 a.m. today, one hour earlier than usual.

PhoneCharge numbers also will begin accepting orders at 9 a.m. Call (410) 481-7328 in Baltimore, (202) 432-7328 in Washington, (703) 573-7328 in Northern Virginia and (800) 551-7328 in all other locations.

Ticket prices are $13 for lower box, $12 for terrace box, $10 for upper box, $8 for reserved, $4.75 for general admission adult, $1 for general admission for children under 12 and senior citizens and $4 for bleachers.

Two dollars from each ticket will go to the Orioles Children's Charities, which this year will benefit College Bound Foundation, Maryland Special Olympics, Campaign for our Children Inc. and the University of Maryland Medical Center, Department of Pediatrics.
