The following crimes have been reported to Howard County police:

Columbia

8700 block of Hayshed Lane: Someone broke a kitchen window between 5:30 and 11:30 p.m. Saturday and ransacked the bedroom, taking jewelry, a TV and a stereo.

6500 block of Carlinda Avenue: Two people broke the glass of a side door Saturday morning. A neighbor saw suspects running from Carlinda to Broken Land Parkway. Nothing was taken.

10400 block of Hickory Ridge Road: Someone tried to pry open a door between Sunday and Monday.

Cedar Lane Park: Someone tried to break open a garage door between Thursday and Friday.

10400 block of Twin Rivers Road: Plexiglas at the Wilde Lake Sunoco was smashed at 2:50 a.m. Saturday, and cash was taken.

7500 block of Murray Hill Road: The owner of a 1984 Toyota Camry found the car at Guilford Road and Gerwig Lane Sunday, a day after it was reported stolen.

5700 block of Harpers Farm Road: A 1984 Toyota Camry was reported stolen between Saturday and Sunday.

Elkridge

6300 N. Washington Boulevard: Someone entered through an unlocked side door at the Elkridge Bakery and took cash from the register.

Ellicott City

9100 block ofSybert Drive: A 1990 Ford F150 was reported stolen between Friday and Saturday.

3700 Fels Lane: Someone stole a 1983 Chevrolet Camaro from a parking lot behind the fire department between Saturday and Sunday.

Jessup

9300 Madison Street: Someone stole a tiller from an unlocked storage shed between March 8 and 15.

Marriottsville

1180 Ramsburg Road: Someone stole tools from an unlocked storage shedbetween last October and Saturday.
