Unc Appoints Andres

The Annapolis-based aviation company UNC Inc. has appointed Bruce Andres general manager of the manufacturing technologies division.

Andres has been with UNC in various management positions since 1977. Most recently, he was project manager for UNC Naval Products, where hewas responsible for the overall quality, cost and schedule performance of a $45 million development program.

John Bonasia has been promoted to executive vice president and chief operating officer at UNC.

Bonasia will be responsible for the management and profitability for all operating divisions of UNC, including Tri-Manufacturing, Tri-Remanufacturing, Airwork, Pacific Airmotive, UNC Aviation Services and UNC Accessory Overhaul Group.

UNC is engaged in the manufacturing and remanufacturing of jet engine and aircraft components.


Brown & McCormick announced the association of David K. Guite to the law firm as of Feb. 27.

Brown & McCormick has assigned Guite to the firm's general litigation department, where his practice will focus on civil litigation, worker's compensation, personal injury and domestic relations.
