BUFFALO, N.Y. -- The Buffalo Bandits rode a 12-goal second quarter to a 27-20 victory over the Baltimore Thunder last night in a Major Indoor Lacrosse League game.
The Bandits (4-3) were paced by game Most Valuable Player Derek Keenan, who had four goals and 10 assists to set league single-game records for most assists and most points (14).
The Thunder (3-4) took a 6-5 lead after one quarter before Buffalo went on a 12-3 scoring run to take a 17-9 halftime lead. Tony Millon led the Thunder with four goals and one assist.
Both teams are in second place in their respective divisions (American and National) of the MILL.
