Gunman Holds Up Crofton 7-eleven

A gunman robbed a Crofton convenience store early yesterday morning,county police said.

Detectives said the gunman walked into the 7-Eleven store in the 2100 block of Defense Highway at about 2 a.m. He asked for a pack of cigarettes, and when the clerk opened the cash register, the gunman demanded money.

Police described the bandit as a black man, about 5-foot-10. He was wearing a green scarf around his face.


An Edgewater man was arrested on drug charges during a routine traffic stop in Annapolis early Wednesday.

Michael H. BagdasianJr., 26, of the 1600 block of Bay Ridge Road, was charged with possessing marijuana with the intent to distribute, city police said.

Apolice officer patrolling Forest Drive near Chinquapin Round Road stopped the man shortly after 11:30 p.m. for driving erratically, police said. While searching the car, the officer found two bags of marijuana, police said. A third bag full of marijuana and a pipe was found on the man, police said.
