'Wayne's World' still on a roll

"Wayne's World" continues to astound Hollywood as it steamrolls along. The low-budget, extended "Saturday Night Live" sketch has topped $60 million and shows no signs of slowing down. For Penelope Spheeris -- the veteran filmmaker who, after 20 years in the business, made her major studio debut with the Mike Myers-Dana Carvey comedy -- success is sweet.

"Finally now I'm able to get some decent scripts, because the word on the movie is so good," she said.

Ms. Spheeris doesn't know what her next project will be, but "I know I either want to do another comedy or a thriller."
