At least one Western Maryland College sports team will be staying home this weekend.

That leaves the men's lacrosse team, which plays host to Washington College Saturday.

The Green Terrors bounced back from last week's thumping courtesy of Salisbury State with an impressive 20-5 win against Widener (Pa.), to improve to 1-1.

Before facing Washington (2-0), WMC travels to St. Mary's today. St. Mary's opened its season Saturday with an 11-9 win over Limestone (S.C.) College.

In Florida, the squad will open against Rutgers-Newark on Sunday, take on Gettysburg (Pa.) College Monday and Mount Vernon (Ohio) Nazarene College on Tuesday.

They continue with three more games in Florida before heading home the following weekend.

* WMC's golfers open the season with theMax Ward Intercollegiate Spring Tournament at Elon College Monday and Tuesday.
