Due to a transcribing error, the Body Lesson that appeare last Tuesday incorrectly described the mechanisms of the eye that result in nearsightedness and farsightedness. With nearsightedness, the image falls in front of the retina; with farsightedness, the image falls behind the retina.

The Sun regrets the error.
