Pat Domenick Jr. Field engineer

A Mass of Christian burial for Pat E. Domenick Jr., a field engineer for a company doing construction work at the Sparrows Point plant of the Bethlehem Steel Corp., will be offered at 10 a.m. today at Ascension Roman Catholic Church in Jeanette, Pa.

Mr. Domenick, who had homes in Jeanette and Cockeysville, died Friday at a Pittsburgh hospital after heart surgery. He was 64.

For the past two years he had worked at Sparrows Point for the Davy McKee Corp. of Pittsburgh.

He worked at Sparrows Point for another company in the late 1970s. A pipefitter for more than 20 years before becoming a field engineer, he was a member of Local 354 of the United Association of Plumbers and Pipefitters of America in Youngwood, Pa.

Born in Jeanette, he was a graduate of Jeanette High School and attended Wake Forest University. He served in the Navy aboard submarines during World War II.

Mr. Domenick had been a Lions Club president and a member of the American Legion in Jeanette.

He is survived by his wife, the former Mary Lou FitzGerald; and two sons, Robert P. Domenick of Jeanette and Jeff Domenick of Greensburg, Pa.
