Pvt. Alfred A. Fields, a member of the 6th Light Infantry Division, based in Alaska, was recently sent to the Philippines to take part in exercise Balikatan 91, an annual joint US-Filipino training mission.
Fields is a carpentry and masonry specialist with the 47th Engineer Company. He graduated from Northeast High School in Pasadena.
