Edward McLernon Jr.

Edward M. McLernon Jr., who had been an executive with business machine companies for 28 years, died Monday of cancer at Good Samaritan Hospital. The Upland Road resident was 60.

A memorial service for Mr. McLernon was being held today at Brown Memorial Woodbrook Presbyterian Church, 6200 N. Charles St.

He served in the Coast Guard during the Korean War.

He is survived by his wife, the former Jean Smith; a son, Ted M. McLernon III of Jarrettsville; two daughters, Susan C. McLernon and Stephanie A. Bryant, both of Abingdon; and a grandson.
