March 01, 1992

Amy Luttrell made the front end of a one-and-one with three seconds remaining to lift No. 17 Dulaney (19-2) to a 43-42 victory over visiting Towson (18-2) in the Baltimore County championship game last night.

Luttrell scored 14 points to lead the Lions and Danielle Jarosinski added 13. Brandi Standridge scored 14 to pace the Generals, who had their 18-game winning streak broken.

The county championship was Dulaney's first since 1988, when it also won the Class 4A state title.
