SILVER RUN — Members of St. Mary's Evangelical Lutheran Church are repainting andrefurbishing their sanctuary.
The two-month project, started in early February, is expected to be completed in a few weeks.
"We're making additions to protect what we have and prepare for the future," said the Rev. H. Lee Brumback.
"The members see themselves as custodians of that building and their faith," Brumback said.
"We have something that we want to share."
Services for the 389-member congregation will be in the fellowship hall until renovationsare complete.
