Current volunteers' news and needs:

Baltimore County Department of Social Services is recruiting volunteers to serve as Parent Aide Volunteers to help parents and children. Training and supervision will be provided. Call Ann Abramson, (410) 887-3134.

Multiple Sclerosis Society is holding a four-hour "aerobathon" from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Feb. 26 at five Anne Arundel County health clubs. For details, call Tera Lisa Harnish, (410)-987-3902.

St Agnes Hospital is offering a cancer support group for patients and care-givers on Thursdays between 2:15 and 3:45 p.m. in the Social Services Department. Call Richard Reiches, (410) 368-2895.

Campfire Boys and Girls Chesapeake Council wants volunteers of all ages to assist with programs such as the camp in Harford County, to mark trails and rake leaves. Call Sabree K. Akinyele, (410) 462-4100.

League for the Handicapped Inc. is holding an ''Everything You Ever Wanted to Know About Camp Greentop'' day from noon to 4 p.m. Feb. 29 at the league, 1111 E. Cold Spring Lane.
