A trade that could send Baltimore Blast midfielder Emil Dragicevic to the St. Louis Storm for four-time All-Star forward Godfrey Ingram may not develop as planned.
"It's in limbo," Drew Forrester, Blast vice president of soccer operations, said yesterday.
Blast team officials had conversations with Ingram on Saturday, and the Luton, England, native said he was "undecided about his soccer career."
It is thought, however, that Ingram, under provisions in the Major
Soccer League bargaining agreement with the players association, has vetoed the deal because of his length of service. Ingram, a nine-year veteran, has the right to veto trades.
