Katharine Reilly Irr

Katharine Reilly Irr, a former teacher who had been active in church and other organizations, died yesterday at Keswick of complications of Alzheimer's disease. She was 88.

A Mass of Christian burial for Mrs. Irr, who lived in Homeland for many years, will be offered at 10:30 a.m. Saturday at the Cathedral of Mary Our Queen, 5200 N. Charles St.

Her husband, Henry P. Irr, first president of Baltimore Federal Savings and Loan Association, which later became Baltimore Federal Financial, died in 1981.

The former Katharine Reilly was a graduate of Mount St. Agnes High School and what is now Towson State University.

She is survived by a daughter, Dorothy Irr Fetting of Baltimore; a brother, Phillip E. Reilly of Towson; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

The family suggested that memorial contributions could be made to the Sisters of Mercy Retirement Fund at 6806 Bellona Ave.
