Baltimore City

ASSAULT: Central District -- A resident of the Seton Hill Manor nursing home in the 500 block of W. Franklin St. told police that a paramedic who arrived to render her medical treatment tried to choke her. Police said the fire department is also investigating the incident.

THEFT: Central District -- Police said that someone removed a $20 resident parking sticker from a car in the 200 block of Dolphin St., causing it to be towed to a city impound lot.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- A resident of Abbott Court told police that he was robbed by two men, one armed with a shotgun, of $375 worth of property, including a gold watch and a gold ring.

ARMED ROBBERY: Central District -- Police said a woman was robbed outside her home in the the 1400 block of Eutaw Place by a man who threatened her with what the woman thought was a gun. The suspect said, "If you scream, I'll kill you."

BURGLARY: Central District -- Police said someone broke into a home in the 800 block of Park Ave. and stole an answering machine, video recorder and a stereo system worth about $400.

MALICIOUS DESTRUCTION: Central District -- A resident of the 800 block of Harlem Ave. told police someone shot a BB through her living room window.

SHOOTING: Central District -- Police said a man standing in the first block of S. Greene St. was accosted by a man armed with a handgun who demanded money. When the victim said, "No," the suspect shot him in the left leg. Police said the victim was in fair condition at University of Maryland Medical Center.

ASSAULT: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 2500 block of Yorkway told police that two men he knows beat him with an ax handle and pipe in the 6500 block of St. Helena Ave. Information about medical treatment the victim may have required was unavailable.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of St. Monica Drive told police someone broke into his car in the 1700 block of Ponca St. and stole a radar detector worth $65.

ARMED ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 400 block of S. Madeira St. told police a man armed with a knife stole $420 from him in the 1700 block of Bank St.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 600 block of Rappolla St. told police that someone broke into his home and removed various property worth $160.

rTC ROBBERY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 300 block of E. 30th St. told police two men attacked him in the 1600 block of E. Monument St., wrestled him to the ground and removed $5 from a back pocket.

THEFT: Southeastern District -- Officials of Johns Hopkins Hospital reported that someone removed a fax machine worth $2,500 from an office in the 600 block of N. Wolfe St. and a $300 typewriter from an office in the 600 block of N. Broadway.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- A resident of the 1900 block of E. Pratt St. told police someone broke into his home and removed a comforter, three men's suits and cash for a total loss of $1,379.

BURGLARY: Southeastern District -- Police said someone broke into a home in the 400 block of Aisquith St. and removed a color television.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 4000 block of Balfern Ave. told police someone broke into the trunk of his car and removed various tools worth $600.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 3300 block of Ravenwood Ave. told police someone stole his bicycle worth $140.

BURGLARY: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Upshire Road told police someone broke into his home and removed $200.

ASSAULT: Northeastern District -- Police said a man was struck in the head by his grown son with a child's plastic bike.

PURSE SNATCH: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1500 block of Northbourne Road told police she was outside her home when a man approached her from behind and grabbed her purse and fled. Total loss was $55.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A woman told police someone broke into her car in the 3100 block of Orlando Ave. and removed 15 cassette tapes worth $150.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 5700 block of Loch Raven Blvd. told police someone stole his bike after cutting lock. Total loss was $350.

PURSE SNATCH: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 1300 block of Rambelwood Road told police someone came up from && behind, snatched her purse and fled. Total loss was $135.

ARMED ROBBERY: Northeastern District -- A driver for Overlea Cab Co. told police he drove two men to the 7200 block of Edewing Court. Once there, they held a knife to his throat and demanded cash. He handed over $120, police said. The driver was uninjured in the attack, police said.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- A resident of the 6100 block of Marquette Road told police that someone pried open his car door and stole a radio and radar detector worth $300.

THEFT: Northeastern District -- Police said someone broke into a car in the 6700 block of Pulaski Highway and stole a radio worth $150.
