The second of two winners of last Wednesday's Maryland Lotto jackpot, worth a total of $1.7 million, has been identified by lottery officials as N. Herrera, 26, a Spanish national.
Mr. Herrera, who has three children, lives in Silver Spring and works for a Silver Spring construction firm. He will split the jackpot with a Baltimore resident, J. Thornton, 46, according to lottery spokeswoman Elyn Garrett.
