In 300 words or less, give your opinion on whether you think too much emphasis is placed on a student-athlete's SAT and ACT scores. Should more emphasis be placed on GPAs and classroom work, less on SAT and ACT results?

Teachers and coaches are asked to write letters recommending deserving nominees. The recommendation letters play an important part in the final selections, and in many cases can be the deciding factor when applications are evenly rated.

Attach any other information or additional details you believe may enhance your chances. Provide as much information as possible.

IMPORTANT: Please, try and send your entire application packet together, including letters of recommendation.

All 24 young men and women chosen will be honored at a banquet this spring and each will receive a plaque. The top two academic-athletes, one male and one female,will receive an additional award.

DEADLINE for entering is March 20. The team is open to all high school students residing in Anne Arundel County.
