Seating assignments gets thumb down

It's your call

January 28, 1992

If those longtime season ticket holders who are upset with their seat locations at the new ballpark are in the minority, as some Orioles officials have claimed, they are a vocal minority, according to yesterday's "It's Your Call" poll.

Of 426 callers, more than three out of four (77 percent) said the Orioles have not treated the fans fairly in seat assignments at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. Moreover, 85 percent (365 of 430 callers) said fans who have had season tickets in the past should receive priority treatment in seat assignments at the new park.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as would be done in a scientific public opinion poll.
