Injured in crash last week, Baltimore County man dies

January 28, 1992

A 43-year-old man from the White Marsh area died at 9:30 last night at the Shock-Trauma Unit in Baltimore from injuries received in a two-car collision last week near Golden Ring Mall, Baltimore County police said.

Gordon LeRoy Boucher, of the first block of Damian Court, was driving a 1991 Chevrolet pickup truck east on Philadelphia Road at 8:10 p.m. Friday when he failed to stop for a red light at the Rossville Boulevard intersection, police said.

Mr. Boucher's truck collided with a 1977 Pontiac that was northbound on Rossville and had the green light.

Police said Mr. Boucher was flown from the scene by a State Police MedEvac helicopter to Shock-Trauma, where he was listed in critical condition.

The driver of the Pontiac, Mark S. Mohr, 25, of the 1000 block of Middlesex Road in Essex, was not seriously injured.

State Police at Pikesville said Mr. Boucher's death brought to 34 the number of people killed on the state's roads so far this year, compared with 43 on the same date last year.
