Scan International, a Silver Spring-based furniture company, appointed Joanne Tolle executive assistant, Susan Estes senior buyer, Rob Forsee buyer and Julie Graham buyer assistant.

The Baltimore Community Foundation, a private and politically independent source of funds and philanthropic leadership, named Sydnia Jacobs director of marketing and development.

McCormick & Co. Inc., a Sparks-based producer of seasonings, flavorings and specialty foods, announced these appointments: Jon E. Luikart, director of sales, McCormick Ingredients; Louis V. WJZ-TV, the ABC affiliate television station in Baltimore that is owned by Group W. Television Inc., named S. Jenell Trigg national sales manager.

Jannotta, Bray & Associates, a career management and executive placement firm in Baltimore, appointed Larry G. Rank managing director of the Baltimore office.

Snelling Temporary Services, a regional provider of clerical and secretarial services, appointed Amy Bittner account manager in the Timonium office.

Iron Mountain, a national records management company, promoted Bob Miller to general manager, Eastern region.

Gamse Lithographing Co., a label manufacturer in Baltimore, promoted Shelly Welling to controller and Laura Cederholm to account executive. First National Bank of Maryland named Woodrow E. "Woody" Vickery investment representative for the Eastern Shore region.
