Queen Anne's crash kills 1, injures 1

A 23-year-old man was killed and a woman seriously injured Wednesday night when their car ran off a rural road in Queen Anne's County and overturned, according to state police.

Craig Edward Strasser of Goldsboro was pronounced dead at the scene. A passenger, Patricia Lynne Stephens, 26, of the 600 block of Old Love Point Road, Stevensville, was flown by state police helicopter to the Maryland Shock Trauma Center.

Twenty people have been killed in traffic accidents in the state this year, one fewer than for this same time last year, police said.
