Colgate sinks Navy on late shot, 78-76

HAMILTON, N.Y. -- Brennan Lothery hit a short jumper with four seconds remaining to lift Colgate to a 78-76 victory over Navy in a Patriot League game last night.

Navy led 67-59 with 6 minutes, 10 seconds to play, but the Red Raiders tied it, then went on to a 76-71 advantage. The Midshipmen countered with a three-pointer by John Haase and Nick Marusich's two foul shots with 12 seconds left.

That set the stage for Lothery, who had 11 points and matched a career-high with 11 assists.
