Student Charged With Lsd Possession

A 19-year-old student at Meade High School was charged with possession of LSD with intent to distribute on school grounds after police said they found her with the drug Monday.

Michelle Ann Saylor, of the 1900 block of Jolliet Street in Severn, also was charged with possession of LSD, the police report said.

According to the report, a school administrator was told that a girl on the parking lot was selling drugs. He checked the lot and and brought a girl to the school office.

After searching her purse, the administrator found a cellophane cigarette wrapper with a a small piece of paper inside, the report said.

SEVERNA PARK WOMAN MUGGED AT HOME

A 52-year-old Severna Park woman was robbed of her purse in front of her home Monday.

Detectives said that at about 9 p.m., the woman was getting out of her car in front of her home in the 600 block of Center Drive when a robber ran up behind her. He forced her backinto the car and took her purse.

The man drove off in a white pickup truck. The woman could not give a description of the man.

MAN, 43, ACCUSED OF ASSAULTING WIFE

County police have charged a 43-year-old man with assault with intent to murder after his wife told policehe tried to stab her early yesterday morning.

John Albert Pollard, of the 300 block of Magothy Bridge Road in Pasadena, also was charged with burglary, police said.

Detectives said Pollard's 56-year-old wife, Betty, was staying with a friend in the 7600 block of Spencer Road in Glen Burnie.

Pollard went to the home to talk to her. When Betty Pollard refused to talk to him, he forced his way into the house. He began to hit her with his fists, police said.

Pollard forced his way into the bedroom and tried to stab her, the police reportsaid.

Betty Pollard was treated for cuts to her forehead and chest at North Arundel Hospital, police said.

2 WOMEN ROBBED AT CHURCH CIRCLE

A 23-year-old Annapolis woman and a friend were walking around Church Circle in Annapolis at about 2:50 a.m. Tuesday when a man approached them, grabbed the first woman's purse, and stole $20, policesaid. He struck the women and ran away, police said.

Severn Park:

100 block of Avondale Circle: Jan. 13, entry gained through the door. Appliances taken. Total loss: unknown.

500 block of Benfield Road: Jan. 14. Appliances taken. Total loss: $820.

Severn:

1900 block of Huguenot Place: Jan. 10, entry gained through the door. Cordless telephone taken. Total loss: $90.

7900 block of Telegraph Road: Jan. 11, entry gained through door. Appliances taken. Total loss: unknown.
