Teen-agers Steal Woman's Jacket

A Glen Burnie woman was robbed of her athletic jacket Monday night while walking across a parking lot.

County police said the woman was walking in the Chatham Business Park parking lot on Crain Highway at about 9:20 p.m. when a car loaded with teen-agers drove up.

One of the teen-agers demanded the woman's jacket. When she hesitated, he took it off her, police said.

The woman could not give police a complete description of the teen-agers.

GLEN BURNIE ARCADE HITBY ARMED ROBBER

A Glen Burnie arcade was robbed of more than $400late Monday night by a man armed with a knife and a gun, police said.

Detectives said the man walked into the Fun-n-Games arcade in Glen Burnie Mall at about 9:30 p.m. and asked for change for a dollar.

He then took out a knife and demanded all the money in the arcade.When the clerk refused, the robber took out a handgun. He forced theclerk into the back room and tied him up with a telephone extension cord before taking $473.11 from the store.

The robber was described as a black man in his late 20s, about 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighing 190 pounds.

ANNAPOLIS DRUG RAID YIELDS THREE ARRESTS

Three men were arrested and charged following an early Monday morning drug raid in Annapolis by county police officers.

Patrick Seward Ford, 25, and Peter Jerome Gebbia, 23, both of the unit block of Neal Street in Annapolis, were charged with possession with intent to distribute marijuana, police said. Jason Woodward Brown, 21, of the 900 block ofSt. John Drive in Annapolis, was charged with possession of marijuana.

According to the police report, officers found nine packages ofmarijuana, drug paraphernalia and $30 during the 12:15 a.m. raid.

The drugs are believed to have a street value of $640.

GUNMAN COMES UP EMPTY IN ROBBERY TRY

A gunman went away empty-handed early yesterday after trying to rob three employees of the Burger King on West Street in Annapolis.

The three were walking out of the restaurant at 1:38 a.m. when a man jumped out from behind a car and brandished asemiautomatic gun, city police said.

The bandit pressed the gun against the head of one employee, then another, while demanding their money, police said.

The gunman ran away after the employees told him they had no money, police said.

No description of the suspect was available yesterday.
