Concessions

It's your call

January 07, 1992

Eighty-six percent of callers to SUNDIAL (219 of 254 callers) say the United States should demand trade concessions from the Japanese. Thirteen percent (35 callers) disagree.

From the same number of respondents, the opinion of 195 (76 percent) is that the United States should impose trade sanctions on Japanese imports, while 59 callers (23 percent) oppose that position.

"It's Your Call" represents a sampling of opinions from certain segments of the community, but it is not balanced demographically, as a scientific public opinion poll would be.
